I am new here and have just purchased my 05 VIII, in Apex Silver. The only things I have done so far is a clear bra and a full tint. I am a past DSM owner having tuned my old 1996 Eclipse GSX, 4G63s rule. I have wanted this car since I saw an EVO IV in Scotland when I was just a kid. I love the out of the box handling I get from this car, but I will be upgrading to make it turn the way it can, and should (I welcome suggestions). I look forward to a meet someday and am always up to a spin around a good road track.

Not sure, trying to get some $ together so I can buy something. Was thinking of MR stock setup for now, and then something more agressive when it is not my daily driver. Got any sugestions?

W E L C O M E aboard!

which brand of clear bra do you have and where did you have it installed? how's the look on silver? i have a silver too and i'm having an install by next week.

regarding your suspension question; it really depends on your purpose and your budget. performance wise i'd say go for a nice coilover set-up.

Welcome aboard!

I just had Robi (Robispec) set up my car with his budget setup. Simply transformed my evo into an entirely new beast! Tremendous bang for the buck. Will give me plenty of room to improve my driving skills while I save for the DMS 50 mm coilovers I have my sights on...

Depends how you want to use the car so you should think about that

I got it done through work. I am a new car auto broker and we work with many shops for aftermarket equipment, Also how I got the tint, and the car for that matter. I can help you save some money and get it done right. I got the Lumar film and it looks good, they did almost half my hood, my headlights, all my bumper and next week they will do the entire side/quarter pannels all the way to my back bumper, HELLO gravel roads.

Short, like 10 miles round trip, commuter and canyon racer. Skaggs point 8), laguna seca, hwy 1, skyline, and the trips back without a bruised rear. I was thinking of a larger rear sway bar and MR shocks ( I like the ride better, and I heard they corner better), then maybe some lowering springs.

Has anyone heard of the Hotchkiss stage 1 kit from Force Fed?
