Has anyone done any research into these? I was looking at the Valentine One (http://www.valentine1.com/), but I don't how good this device actually is. At this price ($399), you want to be sure it actually works.

Oh, he did mentioned that the arrow indicators are kinda slow, but he may have a earlier version.

Maybe we can get him to chimed in .

i have a six years old radar detector and it still works fine. most of the time CHP's dont use their radar gun instead they just hide from a vehicle behind you and try to match your speed. when those disco lights goes off it's time to do that "i dont know how fast i was going" speech.

hey jan, i heard the v1 works wonders...the arrows telling you where the pig is and all.

i actually have the escort solo s2 (cordless). works pretty good for me, but i have no idea where the cops at, ahead or behind me :? all i kno is to slow down when the ka band starts beeping...

let me kno if you end up buying the v1. id like to see how the arrows actually work. reviews say they are quicker and have a farther range than the escorts.

I also have a co-worker that uses that V1. He was telling me if i have the money to spend get the V1. He "lives by it "as he says. Saved his behind 3x on the highway. I'll take his word for it, he's a electronics/gadget kinda guy.
