I just purchased a UTEC for my '03 Evo... and am now shopping for a local tuner... any suggestions?

I know of Vishnu and Works... any other's which are local and reputable?

I don't Vishnu would tune the UTEC and I don't think WORKS has any experience with it. Gruppe-S is definitely your best bet with tuning the UTEC.

Gruppe-S does not appear to tune UTEC's for Evo's... yet...
So... the search continues..........

When I contacted Works about tuning UTEC's, Tyler's reply was that they could tune anything... so take that however you want.

I hear the only problem with the utec is there is a lot to tune. I know Vishnu can tune it, but they prefer not to because of the time involved. I heard gruppe-s can do utecs on wrx's, so why not evo's??

I think you could start with the basemap from TurboXS and then just pull some timing and boost from there. Anyhow, Darwin would be the expert on this since he tunes UTECs for a living.

FYI - we host a great app for the UTEC right here on NorCalEvo called the UTEC Control Center (http://norcalevo.net/ucc/ucc-current.zip).

Hey Chills, did you ever get the UTEC tuned?

If so where and how much was it? How many maps did you get done?
