OEM diaqueen in the transfer case and rear diff. Amsoil or redline in the tranny. And no you can't get those at the local parts store, you should probably order them online. Make sure to get the correct weights.

You can get Redline MT90 from Winchester auto.

OEM diaqueen, I would order online.

I would be careful as to who runs the Redline stuff as on most stockish Evo's i'd still suggest the oem fluid but again it would depend upon the usage of the vehicle first and foremost.

That's just my opinion :)

You absolutely right, people should really look into sticking to OEM fluids.

Got it!

Are you planning on doing a lot of racing whether it be raod track stuff or drag?

If not more than say 25% of the time you use the Evo than i'd stick to stock stuff.

When you start making over 400 or 450 and plan on doing a bit of racing then we'd possibly rec'd something else or if you have some specific work done to your trans but that's not highly likely!

Sean gave me Redline MT90 for tranny and 75w90 for TC when I did the clutch installation.

He said Redline is bit lower cost. :D

So far so good.

But OEM diaqueen, one bottle is 45.

http://www.maperformance.com/mitsubishi-diaqueen-gl5-lsd-gear-oil.html

It can be used at least 3 Evos TC and Diffe fluids changed with just one bottle.

VS.

Redline is $13.99 1qt at Winchester Auto. Most likely you will need 2 qts for front

and back.

You can get redline stuff off amazon for about 10 bucks a bottle, free tax, and free ship if you buy over $25. I would go to the local shitsubishi for OEM diaqueen.

Engine Oil: Mobil 1 ("save money , live better")Wall-Mart FTW!!!
Differentials: DiaQueen ( I have tried royal purple and others, OEM is just fine)
Transmission: RedLine, I filled my car up with this last time and no issues when shifting unlike with Royal Purple, and OEM.

Been using Amsoil from Oil Doc for about 15k with no problems and smoothe shifting ever since the swap.
Engine 0w-30
Trans MGT
T case and Rear diff SG 75-90
Oil doc sells it a dealer cost and worth the little extra I think. Havent tried Redline but hear good things too.
