lol ya i definetly will stop by, i will aslo be visitng sac raceway alot.(gotta break 12's :x ) San rafael mitsubishi is actually installing my cams/head studs and UTEC for me. then they will be dynoing/tuning it for me. They are going to reflash the ecu back to stock..get rid of the p2(man..that was a waste of $500) then tune the piggyback ontop of the stock ecu. Im anxious to see the numbers, i am just hoping for high 300's on pump and over 400 on race gas

well tunung is ALMOST done. Pump map is finished, and 100 and 116 are getting completed. I am pretty happy with the numbers so far. It managed 360AWHP on pump gas @ 23psi. This is on a dynapack dyno. more numbers to come

Has SRM come down on their custom tuning prices now that Gruppe-S is also offering ECUTEK? Last time I talked to them they were in the $800 range for a custom tune. That's why I've been putting it off.

why would you sell it in the first place :? there arnt many better cars out there these days.

p.s. I always wanted to ask this question to people who do big work like this on their Evo... do you care that your warranty is now dead?

1st reason would be debt free and not owe my parents any more $..i could sell it, buy a street bike and basically brake even. Cheep gas, cheep insurance and no payments...wow not to shabby. & i think crashing/jeapordizing my heath is worth that trade off..lol..but other people might not think so becasue of various reeasons(i.e married...kids..whatever) but habinbg JUST a bike is kinda..um unpractiacal? If i wanan take my firends..nope cant do it. Winter..and raining...nope cant do it(well i could but kinda dumb) radio..nope..a/c nope..being able to do 5k clutch awd launches..nope  and i think about how much ive invested..and might as well enjoy this new mod(s) i have done.
Also about warranty.....thats a vague word. its between black and white...gray perhaps? If my ebrake cable breaks..ya mitsubishi will cover it. Thats had nothing to do with modifications i have done. If a rod blows a hole in the bottom of my block from running 27psi...YA i guess youd say im on my own. I am well aware of the consequences that COULD BE A DISASTER (if tuned unsafe...or driver goes beyond the limit)with all of the modifications that i have done, but i am willing to take the risk because the horsepower is worht it :) . warranty..lol whats that

A bike would definitly be difficult to live with everyday... I know for me, I would probably kill myself on a bike. But anyways, yay! Keep the Evo! I want a ride sometime :flowers:

This all sounds so familiar!

I had the P2, what a waste. Then I just went through and did everything complete myself. New turbo, same FMIC as you, cams, alky, and a custom dynoflash.

Final numbers were 375 AWHP on a mustang dyno at Gruppe-s on 100 degree day. Definately in the 400's with better conditions.

Sounds like your car is going to come out nice.

I think I have seen you driving around Yuba also.

Bill
