Navid, the owner of Extreme Performance, has been racing in various venues ever since he bought his first BMW M3 in 1995. He has competed nationally in SCCA Solo II and ProSolo with multiple trophies. Navid also races regularly with BMWCCA Club Racing, NABR and NASA, with multiple class and overall wins. In 2002, Navid co-drove the Extreme Performance #88 1995 M3 to an overall win at 12 Hour of Thunderhill Race, one of the premier road racing events on the west coast. Navid also competed in the inaugural Open Track Challenge in his 2001 M3. He was awarded first place in Touring 2 class, second overall in Touring, and several other awards. Navid instructs at track schools with various clubs, including TracQuest, NASA, SCCA and NCRC.

I always used to drive by and rev up when I went home home (i lived off alumn rock) the last time I saw that place it had a fire tear it up and it was closed I always wanted to go check it out used to see a lot of Audi's and wrx's there I'll go WHEN IS IT GONNA BE SO I CAN GET OFF WORK 8)

BTW, stopped by Navid's shop today to pick up some headlights, he's really a cool guy. We talked about evo stuff for about 20 minutes. That is a mighty nice BMW he has there. :)

Wow, that was fast! :D Seems like we got enough to make it worth while. I'll take a look at the schedule tomorrow and find a suitable date. It would have to be on a Sunday, unless we do it after 7:00pm on a weeknight. This way we'll have the parking lot in front and back of the shop to ourselves.

It'll be easier if it's on a weeknight since most Sundays are taken up by autoxes and track days for the next few months. I'll see if I can gather up a guest speaker or two. Stay tuned to the same thread for more info.

I'm not sure how that could have been any perfect for us.... me and my bud (the guy sitting next to me owns a E46 M3) and we're planning to go to Thunderhill July 27th for our first time. We thought it was hilarious that all the examples and references were made to both the M3 and the evo.... too convenient!
