What is that tube tapped into the, empty(USDM EVO 8 ), bosses in the manifold? I've only seen this on other non USDM cars, is it EGR or something?

How does it work? Why don't we have it? How can we add it? Is it worth it to add it? :P

lol, don't take my word for it, I am just guessing, but some how it attatch it to the upper I/C pipe

Yes it's antilag. But I don't think its hooked up on the production cars.

"To homologate a new anti-lag system, all production models were sold with the anti-lag air injection hardware on the exhaust manifold. With no software to control it, however, street drivers were prevented from shooting anti-lag-induced fireballs out the tailpipe during gear changes."

i also noticed they don't have a crash beam in the front... must be a US law for the crash beam?

I believe it was posted somewhere that you could activate the antilag.. or the version thats on there is very mild and doesnt really do much.. It almost seems like its as useful as the IC sprayer.. cool anyway though

Great article, thanks for posting it! I guess that's the system that Kyouichi Sudo used on his Evo in InitialD? :D
