my work-in-progress: wing'd or wingless?

Hey everybody, this is my work-in-progress. I'm contemplating whether I want to go wingless or not!

Future plans include: blackout headlights, jdm evo8 rear bumper?, vishnu stage 2, springs.

Oh and the BNB sticker thing isn't a "racing kreww" or anything it's an inside joke. About 6 scene kids pretending to breakdance, becomes a huge cult in the southbay lol. http://groups.myspace.com/breakdancenotbreakdowns

I kept the wing because A. it's functional and B. it looks good (sure it's large, but see point A)

I found doing the all-CF wing mod makes the car look kinda cool up close and a bit more subtle from far away since the wing becomes harder to see without the paint.

Well it's impossible to make my car look "subtle" but you know what I mean...

I'm going to make my 2nd wing this way since i have two. So yea it does add more of a "racer" look since you get more of a two tone CF thing going.

The Evo at the Porsche dealership near my office recently went wingless, and it looks pretty good. I've often considered removing mine, but now that I want to do more track days, I'll probably keep mine. But what about a compromise -- put the Lancer OZ wing on your car? I've considered that as well. I saw an Evo like that on eBay, and it looked okay.

LOL yepp they be yo rimzz.

um actually that's not a do-luck, but rather the JDP Engineering Lip. It is a direct copy of the do-luck, perfect fitiment and it's not one of those cheesy ones that cover your stock lip, it's a direct replacement. all you need to do is drill the preforated tabs and you're good to go.

You can reach john and find out pricing, but I believe introductory price for the lip was aorund 400+. Definetely worth it imo.

thats just my personal opinion, if you like it then that is fine and i would never tell anyone their dumb for doing it. but i will put in my 2 cents before they make the change. and besides its not dumb if its your car and you like it, because its your car!
