sup everyone, just have a quick question. should we do an alignment check on our evos after a spirited run on mountain/streets, especially with hard corning, braking, and stuff? or do we only do the realignment when we change/swap our suspension setup (ie. change springs, lower car, or coilover upgrade)? lemme know on any advises/thoughts. thnx.

i used to get my car aligned or checked every 5k miles before but i changed it to every 10k instead.definitely get a new alignment done whenever changing something in the suspension mainly either swapping springs or installing a new coilover.

thnx. so there's not really a need to do alignment check if after spirit run, or hard corning and stuff?

Only if you hit something like a rock or a pothole.

I just got my Evo aligned by Brandon at Roger Kraus. I was surprised how much the alignment had changed in 11,000 miles in 6 months. No track use, just street use. I'm thinking it would be worth checking every year now as I was surprised how much the settings had shifted.

Brandon did a great job. We tried a more aggressive setting than I had before and its working great. Now the car handles the way I think it should.

I only get my alignment checked whenever I decide to change my alignment settings, get new tires, or catch some air in San Francisco.
