Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I guess I pretty much learned about the Evo thanks to Sony and the original Grand Turismo with the Evo V I believe. That game inspired me to do more research on these amazing cars. I was very excited when they were talking about bringing it to the states. Although I couldn't afford one at the time, I've spent the last few months searching every Evo for sale in California and beyond on Autotrader, craigslist, ect. This past Sat 6/18/05 I can now say I'm a proud owner of a tarmac black 2003 Evo VIII with a sunroof. The car is stock with 17k miles on it and it's been lowered a bit. The closer I look at the car the more I get the idea it's been modded before. It's all good cause I still love it anyway. I would like to get more info on the car if possible. I picked it up from Concord Mitsubishi on Sat. It was only on the lot a matter of hours. On Fri it had bald tires and was in service and on Sat it was on the lot. Anyone on here own this car before? Apparently I am the 3rd owner. The 1st owned it til just under 5k miles and the 2nd owned it from just under 5k miles to 17,0XX miles. Thanks in advance.

If you don't mind me axing. How much are 03s with 17k on the clock going for at the dealership?

They were asking $28,999 & I got it for $25,599. There was another Silver one I've been keeping my eye on for $23,999 at Vericom but it had 29k miles on it. I was also hot for black although apex silver is hot too.

At dealerships they are usually going for low 20s, depending where you live.
