Evo mini meet at Go-Kart Racer 7-2-05

its just a feeler who wants to do a meet at Le Mans in fremont around 12 on 7-2-05... i was pondering a little competition against fellow evo drivers.. we can do three races...guys in the bay area will races against each other and the top 4 will move to race against the guys from the sac area.. and the last race will be the top 8 guys from both regions to see who is a better karter.. and i was thinking of getting a prize for the top three who finishes.. so what do you guys think?

yeah this is still on... but im thinking of changing the location to Go Kart Racer (http://www.gokartracer.com/directions.html) cuz i think its a better deal for everyone... and i think its a bigger track..
and this is what we can do cuz we will be in a group.. so dont be cheap... Grand Prix: $60 (Great for Groups)
Drivers go out for 10 minutes of practice, take a 10 minute break and look at their race results (brag a little), then go back for 5 minutes of qualifying, line up on a grid and race for 15 minutes to cross the finish line first. 50-55 laps.
and we will go for the Monza Track

Course: A technical course with an elevation change.
Average lap times: 30-31 seconds
Track length: 305 meters
Max drivers: 10

I live in Corale de Tiera right next to leguna seca.. lemans is far but worth driving for me.. the other place is just out of reach and not worth it being its in san fransico. Maybe i can get some people intrested in a road trip up there but im not into it if im the only one going.

We were sitting there waiting for you :lol: We had an awesome time.. plus the place had a nice picture of a evo landing in a puddle.. nice evo freindly karting experience. The walls were painful yet giving :roll: On my way back I had an encounter with an SRT4.. this thing pulled 6-7 car length on me from a 70 mph roll instantly.. I couldnt even here my loud as exhaust over his turbo! I immeditaly stopped at the nearest dodge dealership and demanded a test drive. I was not that impressed.. the car was very slow and non confidence inspiring compared to the evo. How much would it cost to build a stage III or IV? like the one that oblierated me? The wholesaler i was talking to turned out to be my next door neighbor who was a nascar racer for 11 years and has competed in just about every motorsport.. we had a lengthly discussion on how to get started in the sport.

It was a pretty cool meet. Unfortunately only four evo guys showed up, but then again, it was just us four on the track during our race. 8) Anyhow, I was nice seeing some familiar faces again and I definitely down for the next karting excursion.
