finally received my exhaust tonight after four days. first impression was like "ooohhhh.....ahhhhh.....shiiiinnnyyyyy…..exxxhhhhaa auuussttt. anyways, the welds were are top notch, exhaust hangers are made of stainless steel. It took me two hours for the install, I could have done it in less time but it was dark outside. i'ved dented the exhaust already with my carelessness  but oh well, it's not like it is going to affect performance. two things of concern for me, the exhaust tip sits kinda close to the bumper and one part of the piping is about half an inch close to one of the diff bolt.

thanks tam! as you can see by the fifth pic that one of the diff bolt has about half an inch space from the piping (upper left, rusted bolt). so far havent heard the piping hitting the bolt. hopefully it will stay that way.

brwnrice,

that tailpipe is mightly close to the bumper, let's do a groupbuy on those heatshields.

wilson, the tip is 4" and yes the tip is kinda close to the bumper. after my test drive last night i went to feel the bumper and i did not feel any hot spots at all so all. if somebody makes a carbon exhaust shield then i'm down for a group buy.

it has a nice deep sound and not too raspy. i think it's louder than Jan's buschur though. :?

brwnrice

yeah it feels faster from the but-o-meter! maybe it's the increase of noise that make it seem faster

Well you are supposed to gain around 10whp from a new exhaust. So, your buttometer is probably not lying to you.

Doesn't look like it will fit USDM EVOs. JDM bumpers are a bit different in shape. They look cool though.

Brian is right...that will not fit our bumper...just do a search on the "other" forum.

i'm thinking of making my own carbon exhaust shield, just need to buy the supplies. i found this informational site about molding carbon fiber but it is very time consuming though.
