the best he could do was a 12.3. there was at least a tenth at the start. so the car is capable of 12.2. maybe with a different suspetion setup, he could do even better than that. he got down to the final race and bogged at the start  . but it was good for his first time drag racing. ill scan the slip in tomorrow

Your dad is Navid? What power mods does he have done to his EVO? How can he still run in the ESP auto-x class running 12.3 1/4 mile times???

Navid has a custom Hayward&Scott header-back exhaust, custom-tuned Xede and runs on 100-octane race gas. Don't remember the exact power figure but I think it was something like 270 at the wheels. Yes, it can be done although there are better and cheaper ways to make this amount of power (that are not ESP-legal). Also his car weighs less than 3000 lbs.

Can't wait to drive it at SCCA Solo2 Nationals...

yes, he is my dad lol. also hes ran V710's, which are sticky tires. so that help with the 12.3

That's a hell of a launch and must be super fast shifting. I only trap 108 on 100 octane and run a 12.8 with a 1.82 60ft... Hopefully I can break into the 1.6 - 1.7 range once I replace my stock clutch. Nice driving!

From my back-to-back outings, I found that Sacramento Raceway is a .1-.2 and 2-3 mph faster track. Comparing times and traps between the two isn't really apples to apples.

1.6x 60' times is really good. Damn..

yea, its good. but hes done a 1.66. most of the times on his best run he has beatin before. the car is good for a 12.2, maybe even a 12.1 in its current condition
