I just finished installing an aftermarket (Philips) HID conversion kit on my 05 Evo and somehow the light is not pointed straight ahead like the stock lights. It seems to be angled outward a little, giving me a dark blind spot about 10-15 yards in front of my car. The odd thing is I didn't do anything to adjust the lights sideways(if that's possible) or up/down. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

--does turning the bulb inside the housing make a difference?

--is there a lateral adjustment for the headlights?

Help!!!

did you buy a 9006 Conversion? the 05s without HIDs are 9006 bulb type and without that size it will be out of focus...i put D2Rs in my stock 05 Evo headlamps and it did the same thing...

You can either buy 9006 bulbs or get 03,04,MR headlamps (D2s bulb type) and convert all the wiring and get foglights (what i did)

DS2 is not the same as 9006... so make sure you have the 9006 style and not DS2.

9006 should look similar to this: http://www.plasmagarage.com/images/Kit_bulb_Plugs_4.JPG

D2S should look like this:

D2S just means that bulb is meant for projector lenses and doesn't have a shield over the bulb. A 9006 D2R bulb would have a shield and is meant for reflector headlights.
