I was goin thru the same dillemna of the Evo vs. STI. What swayed my decision was...

1. Evo looks hella better, STI is fugly.

2. Sayin Evo sounds better than STI.

3. There are many magazines that did the comparision between the Evo 8 vs. the STI... Evo whipped the STI hands down.

4. Went to tracks and saw a stock Evo 8 beat an STI on the 1/4 mile by 1/10 of a second (Evo 8 has 271 hp, STi has 300 hp)

5. Watching them Top Gear videos helped...

6. I first saw the Evo 7 when I was stationed in Japan in 01.

7. When I was there, Evo was a famous street car name like the Skyline.

8. Saw that the Evo had a 6-speed coming out in the MR knowing that the 5 speed Evo 8 beat a 6 speed STI.

 8)
