noobie here with an '05 Evo GSR

Greetings everyone,

after reading from everyone's post for the past month, I have finally pulled the plug and got me an '05 Apex Silver Evo VIII. After shopping around, I finally took advantage of the low apr and got my car at Concord Mitsu. I got the 2.9% financing for 72 months. I am happy with my purchase. :) My first choice was a white one but oh well. :) With how Concord treated me, I am not regretting the color.

We are twins! I bought it over there as well. I wanted the white one as well but setted with silver. How much did you buy it for? They treated me okay but were a bit pushy. Were they like that to you?

Woohoo!!! another silver one! yeah white was nice however after some thought I think silver gets lesser attention from the CHP. Anyway, got it for a little over 28 +TTL. how about yours? They were a little pushy but it ended up well because my salesman was a noobie who knew a lot about evos so he really did not do a lot of pushing. :)

Wow! 28 is a great buy! I got mine in June for 32.5K + TTL, but I got the Sun, sound, leather package. Regardless, well worth the money.

Thanks all of you! This is one of the reasons why I bought an Evo. People who own evos here in the bay are so close together. Today while I was driving up 680 right on junction 580, a white gsr with a vortex generator suddenly pulled on my side and waived. Anyone know who that was or if he's a member here? Im so happy I have an Evo!

Yeah, everyone here is really nice. For some reason, the only person I've ever seen on the road is evo_dadi, and everyone else isn't on NCE. What's the deal? How can Evo owners not be involved with the local community anyway?

Good question! i've always wondered the same thing. This guy pulled up to Panda Express one day and I was talking to him about his mods and asked him if he was on the forums and he was like "uhh no" .. I love reading about other people's evo's and stuff.
