You definitely won't pass smog without a cat. The cams could be a problem as well. Your intake (which I presume is not CARB-exempt) will stick out like a sore thumb and fail visual inspection too. Cam gears will also fail visual unless you've hidden them beneath the stock cover. I don't know about the other stuff, but it could be a problem as well.

Welcome to California! 8)

Damn!!! Well guess I gotta put it to nearly stock....Maybe I can get away with it if I trade in my car (without the mods) for an 05 within the first 30 days that I'm there so I dont have to worry about smog for two years..

New cars don't need to be smogged for 5 years in California I think.

For some reason I can't find the law right now...

Yeah, I think most of us don't have to get our cars smogged until 2007

On top of that, you'll also end up getting free gas for a year, according to another post here that looked pretty legit.

It's 2009. There's a link to a smog schedule/timetable somewhere, lemme see if I can dig it up.

I don't believe that's true if the car was out of state. I may be wrong on this though.

Whats UP in Hawaii DUDE. It is nice to hear from you on the boards. I look forward to seeing this car when you get back. Say hi to your better half for me. Lets see some pics of that car of your, and while your at it, that M35 sport you boy got from me.
