Took some time with the high lift jack and a 3500 lb ratchet stap to get things close to where they are supposed to be.

Got the mini battery in the trunk. Also removed the spare tire bolt down piece and the jack holder. Some day there will be a water/alky fuel cell there.

Don't know if I'm going to keep the bottom piece with the battery disconect. Got most of the wireing done on the defi control unit.

OK no comments on my welds. It will hold, just not pretty. That tar shit was a pain. When it got hot enough it started dripping down on my welds.
Hopefully the engine will be in by this weekend. My neigbor who's doin the painting stopped by to pick up the wrecked hood to try out the paint he got.

I'd like to see the back go lower but I'm maxed out. So with out spending 200 on other set of shorter springs and a new alignment. I just let it be.

When I put Jomamma's apr splitter on I traced it and decided to make my own out of aluminum. THe apr splitter sticks out too much at the tip for me so I softened it by 2 inches at the point. This piece really helps because I didn't put the 30lb front bumper support back on when I rebuilt the car and it has 2 points to which the bumper attaches to. This undertray stiffens up the bumper a lot.

:( I'm sad to see you get rid of the Evo, Marshall... but it's good to see that you sold it to someone that's going to keep the road racing spirit alive. Take good care of it, Sammy!
Marshall, anytime you want to autox in an Evo, you're more than welcome to codrive mine with me. It's not at the same level as yours, but it'll still be fun to drive.

Red X's FTL.
Maybe Marshall can fix the links... he comes by here every now and then. He did great work rebuilding my old Evo (which was formally rodw's old Evo, and is now FIA's evo).
