I will be there. A friend of mine is going to be competing in the drifting, another friend is showing his car there and I know some of the show organizers.

Wow, if you want pictures I got plenty. :) I was there hanging out with some friends and I totally didn't think I'd win anything. I wasn't even there when they announced it. My friend called me and told me to go back to my car because I'd won and they were looking for me. I thought he was kidding with me.

There were lots of more modified 240SX but they liked mine because it wasn't a cookie-cutter car, it was clean and JDM street style.

Jeff at JDMtheory/accutech just gave me a huge handful of flyers for the upcoming event if anybody needs one go to the DCMP (daly city mission plaza) meet on Friday the 14th, each flyer gets you 2$ off (1 per person). 8) :wink:

Yeah, it looks like Vegas may be postponed, but not 100% sure yet.

What time do you guys usually meet in DC on Friday nights? Is it that center where Nations and Starbucks is? I may head on up there Friday night, but not for the cruise afterwards. You guys are too crazy for me ;)

hey kimmie the directions are on the first post, we usually start gathering between 800 to 830 and hang until 930 to 1000.

This just in...if anybody is still down to caravan. Sorry for the short notice, I can ask Big Walt if he can lead the caravan out? i'll be leaving earlier to help JDMtheory setup and man a booth.

we ended up showing up hella late, at 515. we watched the last of the amateurs drift, and got a great show from the Falken guys. what a fucking civic! oh yeah, we watched from the racetrack parking lot, above the drift area. GREAT VIEWS!!!!!

I was there from 7am to like 4pm... so tired. I helped my friend set up his car for the drift competition, unload boxes for the JDM Theory booth, and then played pit crew, changing tires, video taping the runs etc. Talked to a few people there. I was mostly in the drifter pit area. Pretty cool event, tons of people, definitely very big.

A lot of the SoCal people came up to drive too and they were impressed with how far NorCal has gotten in driver skill and machine set up. The Falken guys did 3-4 demo runs throughout the day and definitely very good drivers. 4 cars crashed into the metal pole and the pole looked fine... but the cars were pretty bent.

I am so in love with that Falken Mustang...it gives me chills everytime I see and hear it. We were there for a few hours...I think 1:30p to about 5:30p. My friend Daniel Pina was driving the Drift Patrol Mustang, and I was quite impressed. Actually, I heard a lot of positive comments about him from overhearing some of the spectators and other amateurs.

damnit, I was waiting for that pole to take out a few cars. That str8 away was long as F**k, Too much speed going in. I saw just the first set of runs, my kid wasn't feelin too well. :(
