Just got this bad boy on about 3 hours ago. I'm really liking it so far. Getting the stock setup off was a major bee-otch  , but it was worth it. Car definately pulls harder up top and sounds mean as hell at WOT. Driving at 80mph is also still quiet enough (no droning) to talk on the cell. I would highly recommend this setup to anybody looking for a cat-back exhaust without mind numbing dB.

Thanks man! The only thing I'm debating right now is should I get the EcuTek flash now or go for a downpipe first and then do it. :?:

get the dp, cams, and other supporting mods before getting a reflash will be more cost effective down the road.

i show cased this at the in/out mini meet we had and I hope I made an impresion. the way the cops are now a days its not safe to have a polished blingin, blaring loud exhaust. I installed mine in a about 20 min it fits perfect, doesn't cook the bumper and comes with all the bolts hangers and gaskets you need. when you want to be quiet you can and when you open it up it doesn't sound or hold back the car like the stock system

Well said. It's quiet when you want it to be and screams when you open the car up. Fits like a glove too.

Any chance we can meet up some where so I can hear it in person? I work in Pleasanton.

After hearing and seeing it on both MitsuMan and superfleajq's Evos, I'm definitely going to pick one up from AutoRnD within the month. Rishie's got them in stock. As much as I like the loud exhaust sound, daily driving "drone" and cop harassment are not on my want-to-deal-with list.

There are other muffler style exhausts that are pretty quiet. But this is the only painted stainless muffler so not only quiet but stealthy. I'd like to see and hear this one myself.

This is an cut and paste from EvoM:

wow.. thats stealth. I might have to swap my RSR GTII out for this one.. I think the GTII is pretty quiet considering there is only one bend!.. with cams, resonated test pipe, down pipe and 02 housing though.. the car can be insanely loud on startup when cold out.. I notice at 45mph in 5th gear there is no sound at all.. then it starts blaring again.. this seems like a good path for me to take though with all the under hood goodies.

Why does it sit so far to the left? Looks strange...

Make sure you tighten the flange evenly side to side.

Mine looks dead center too. Maybe it was the angle the picture was taken at on that black Evo.

BTW...OT...which downpipes hook up to the stock cat, have an o2 bung and don't have any clearance issues.

it sit perfectly straight that car might just have not evened it out in the hangers. the hangers alow for flex and bouncing so maybe he just left it that way. oh and did you see the bezzled tip. that'll never loose it's luster(will stay cool) sorry for my huge pics oh and check out gruppe-s for this one they have a post in vender classifieds with good price. and they got it the next day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks better in the above pictures, make sure you guys tighten the flanges down evenly and to proper torque, otherwise bad stuff can happen!

I've heard of people hooking up Helix exhausts to their stock cat (no neck down). Mine is on a 3" cat though, so can't say for sure. Damn Helix is too loud, i'd like to hear this exhaust.

Damn, this exhaust looks so sweet! If only this one was on the market when I was exhaust shopping for my evo.

Id love to see some dyno numbers on this catback.. im just wondering how much power my car would lose by swapping the RSR GTII over to this sleeper exhaust, now that I have cams/test pipe on the car im hoping I could get away with something slightly quieter on the exhaust end of things.
