The Nov. issue of TPR is claiming this thing is good for almost 30 ft.lbs. with 272 cams.

I'm curious if any1 else read it?

Why would a grounding/volt stabilizer kit make different power with 272 cams?

30lbs my ass. Maybe from the cams themselves.

When we put Project EVO back on the dyno we didn’t expect what we got. Peak HP stayed consistent with the previous test however we saw 281.71 lbs. of torque at 3800 RPM! Just to clarify, boost levels were at 12.5 psi at 3800 RPM for both baseline and fi nal testing. The EVO was loaded up at 2400 RPM and ramped simultaneously to prevent unusual boost spiking at low RPM

They made 261whp and 281lb of torque at 12.5psi? On a dyno dynamics dyno??? What The F* ever.

Throw that magazine away.

I also like how the tq/hp don't cross at 5200 on their DD dyno:

Cool I was hoping you answer. You always give good feedback.

From how the article was written they did baseline dyno, installed cams then dyno'd again, added and tuned cam gears/ dyno'd, then installed the "Condenser" and dyno'd a last time repeating the same HP but up almost 30 ft.lbs.

Read what I added in my post. If you think that adds 30ft/lb for $160, then go buy one!

magazines are NEVER wrong!

If you don't like our answers why did you ask the question?

I did but you had already replied as I was looking for the article. :)

I see you read it, how did you interpret it?

How do magazines stay in business? Subscribers? No. Advertisers? Yes.

The dyno chart lines don't cross at 5252 because the tq and hp graphs are scaled differently. I always thought it was silly that they do that. I guess it gives the appearance of your car making more power to the unsuspecting eyes.

Snake oil. Creative marketing can sell anything.
