I installed my Apex'i exhaust, but with a 3" midpipe instead of the Apex'i one that necks down... it's real quiet for a full 3" catback! the nice thing about the midpipe is that it doesn't neck down at all.

The stock cat is what keeps the exhaust quiet. I like how the EVO 9 cat has the rear o2 sensor on it. I'm sure once you change the downpipe and cat, it'll get louder.

Already have a cat delete! got a resonated one, and it has a bung for the EVO 9 02 sensor, which is great, because I'll drop my wideband there.

The mechanical 02 sensor fix doesn't fit in the stock location but it fits in the midpipe, so it works out well.

It's still really quiet! downpipe next week.

oh haha.. I shoulda known better than to underestimate you Kit!

That's good to hear that the WS is still pretty quiet even w/ a cat delete.

they were actually very straight with me. kinda surprising.

Sorry, couldn't get any shots of the ebay midpipe...

The exhaust doesn't hang perfectly straight, it's a little angled to the left, but it's pretty close.

I thought the apexi exhuast canister was painted black?

one of these days I will get off my lazy ass and shoot some photos of my shivnu signature catback that I painted stealth black.

No more shiny bling to attract attention! :twisted:
