Meguiar's Car clinic Dec.3rd @1pm

Hey guys, for you guys who dont check the show and shine section... i have asked my friend from meguiars to help us out with a car clinic... it will consist of hands on, product info and how it works by the guys who work for meguiar's. it will be on Dec. 3rd at 1pm to 4pm but he wants people to show up early so he can take pics of the cars so he can post them on the Meguiar's website. also the Suby guys will be joining us so lets not let this forum down by only having a handful of guys showing up who cares about the EVO.. for the original thread check here: http://www.norcalevo.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6354... so lets all go and check out what Meguiars has to offer us... BTW they will have products that hasnt been released yet on sale to us at a discounted price..

so again he is doing this as a favor cuz i wanted to do something for you guys...

you dont need to drive your car there, just show up and learn something about car care.. if you think you kow but you dont.. it wont hurt to learn something new.. so you guys show up, learn and get a some of the new products that meguiar is going to release to the public first... so even if you show up in your beater he will show you how to keep it clean..

Thanks to Mike for setting up the meet, it was nice seeing everyone there, alot of peeps signed up and didn't show up! :?

Anyways, Jeff Brown, senior areas sales manager with Meguiar's, give us a run down on what to do with proper car paint care and engine compartment maintainance.

We stayed til 5pm or so, and it was really informative.
On the way back, almost rear ended Mike's evo. :oops:

Again, Big Thanks to Jeff at Meguiar's for hosting the meet, and spending literally over 3 hrs showing us how to properly take car of our paint finishes.

yeah wilson almost gave me a new rear end.. after the clinic we both headed home but the traffic was bad i sped up to get in first but i figured i should leave room for wilson up front but i he didnt know what i did so he sped also and tried to get behind me and he didnt see the traffic had stopped, when he saw what had happened he swurved and and when he came to a complete stop he was next to me... :shock:

and then, out of nowhere, this guy drove by and asked about our evos, and wanting a testdrive. Mike, being a good samaritan, volunteered, and let him drive his evo. This particular evo comes all the way from Hawaii, with multiple areas of needs. So, who knows which member is the owner and why Hawaii is the place for deligent car care?

i almosted pooped in my pants the way he drove my car.. afterwards he told me he races his friends ferrari on the weekends and he drove my car like stole it.. at one part on the closed street he ran the stop sign and the street wasnt level and we skipped sidways but my baby stuck to the ground like it had some gorilla glue to the tires... :twisted:
but in the end i got a great deal on some furnitures... :D

hey thats some cool stuff that we did that day.....Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped clean my car (especially the left side of the back bumper and quarter panel!!!!LOL!!) and thanks to Jeff....gonna go back and get me that damn bucket of stuffs...and finally got to meet some members!!! most interesting part was when there was a loud booom, and the whole building went dark! Turns out that something shorted out the transformer!

not bad, all it needed was salt... and the best was that i got a squirrel tail that i got to hang on my antenna... :twisted:
