They are the exact same coilovers as the Megan and Apexi ExV's.

I have the apexi ExV and I love them for the price.

I did notice on that site they said they are inverted piston which is not correct.

Well, they sure looked the same. Not sure if valving and spring rates are the same but I don't know why they would be.

I think it's great that everyone is using them. Means more selection and pricing for us.

I am still amazed at mine for the price.

How bouncy are the ride on the bay area roads (SF, Mission)?

The ride is great but any suspension on the evo in SF is going to be jarring, even stock.

I haven't had any complaints. I came from a super stiff shocking JIC coilover setup on my WRX and told myself I would never go that route again.

Wow, these look pretty familiar too.

Greddy Coilovers (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1638-TRUST-MITSUBISHI-EVO-8-COILOVER-SUSPENSION-NEW_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33590QQitemZ8027209 703QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)

Those photos aren't even of the EVO application. Looks like honda.

Here is what coilovers look like for evo:

Yeah, those are pictures of the application for the Mazda RX-7. The stats they list are identical to the Evo8 Megan however.

hmm I might go this route. Hearing a positive review from bryan is good.. and I understand that you get what you pay for with the most part for coilovers. How would these stack up to the K-sport?

Let us know how those work for you. I'm looking at a # of these "budget" coilovers too.

The thing about the K-sport is that they don't have coated threads so it could rust and there isn't a full dust boot.

i will definatly do some write up on it or a review if there isnt already 1....but u do make a good point about the non coated threads...i didnt think about that before....so im thinkin i can make some kinda cloth cover around it...(like 1s found on some quads:atv: front suspension)

Apologies for resurrecting this thread from the dead, but Bryan, could you provide some feedback as to how the DNAs are holding up? I might just take up that GruppeS offer with free install. TIA!!
