Dyno was done @ EIP and tuned by Paul

Boost Setting = 23 psi
ECUTek Base Flash
720 cc Helix Fuel Injectors
255 lph Walbro Fuel Pump
HKS 264/272 combo in/out
HKS Cam Gears set @ R10/R10
S-AFC II
Helix Downpipe
Helix Test Pipe
HKS Hiper Exhaust
HKS Drop in Filter
MR BOV
Hallman RX MBC

The pull was done @ 4th gear The base run does not have the injectors upgrade and fuel pump upgrade.

So did he tune for that or did he just slap them in and dyno it?

Nice numbers man. 8) I think a 10.5 hotside should take you up another notch. Did you dyno your's there stock?

are all EIP dyno pulls done in 4th gear?

Btw, your cam gears are set to -10/-10? Every notch on the HKS cam gears is 2 degrees. Are you reading them right?

Your mods are pretty darn close to Racers minus the 10.5 hotside and 272intake and his numbers are 326/317 on 91 on the same dyno. Weird.

So whats done on the ecutek base flash and what's done on the SAFC2? SAFC2 for fine tuning? Is the 23psi boost setting what it spikes too then drops?

nice numbers btw. Still would like to know if all EIP dyno runs are in 4th. That would explain alot.

Pretty sure that Paul uses 4th gear......yes the timing was set @ -10 each notch is 2 degrees i see that, i will let him know that the timing was set that much back  . The ECUTek was just basic w/ some mods on fuel map... the SAFC 2 was also used for fine tuning. The Boost was 23 psi and tapers down to like 19.5 psi car only has 7k on it . I noticed that Gruppe-S use 3rd gear pull thats why i specifically mentioned 4th gear to eliminate some confusion

So you set them at -10/-10? What was your reasoning for that?

btw, don't think I am making fun, I am actually very curious. That could be why Racer's is making so much more power.

Do you have a AFR chart?

I wasnt aware that the timing was set like that i will get them corrected if so the afr was not printed out but i can ask paul if he can email it to me. dont worry i dont think you are making fun of me anyways?

I really think retarding the gears that much hurt your power. Would be interesting to see before and after dyno charts from that -10/-10 and even 0/0.

If you take out some of that -10/-10 I bet the power won't die off as much as it does now at 6000rpm.

My HP is still increasing until about 6900-7000 rpm, then it drops very slightly, only about 10 hp until the revlimiter at 7600. Running both 272/272 on my car might contribute to that as well.

I'm really curious because I am still learning alot about cam gears.

Also, I believe, and somebody correct me if i am wrong, but 2 degrees at the cam is 4 degrees at the crank. So -10/-10 is...

what resources are you reading online? I've looked at howstuffworks.com, and although it makes sense, I really still don't understand how overlap and timing changes affect the powerband. If you can point me in the right direction, that would be cool. For something like this, maybe it's a good idea just to put the darn things on and see what happens by experimentation.

Do 4th gear pulls usually read lower, higher or same as 3rd gear pulls?
