so, i figured it was time to represent a little norcalevo action and stop pretending like i'm not proud. i rock my evo in arkansas for school but my hearts always in the bay, it's about to get some large work done on it, it got keyed up and slashed so i get to play around w/ new colors and wheel ideas...gimme some help yo, i'm leaning towards pearl white on gold (cliche but clean), or something funky like poop brown on black or bronze, i dunno, i wanna be interesting.

I have never seen an Evo painted that tho. Now that would be original! 8)

Gold on black looks good. 8)

I always thought a tan or brown evo would look badass. Military style!

btw, you should really put your exhaust manifold heatshield back on.

I think the Vermont sports cars STi's are badass looking:

I would love to do something like to my evo... well, minus the pink wheels.

Dude, a nice metalic burnt orange would be sick. Similar to the SRT-4.

I've never seen a paint company have to approve the car it is going to be used on. What.....I can't paint my beat up pickup truck this color for $465.qt. Funny.

The paint is available through us for $465 per quart, pending the approval of the vehicle it is to be used on.

Is there any advantage to taking out the shield from the grille in the hood?

Is there any advantage to taking out the shield from the grille in the hood?

No, it probably hurts the cooling since the slats help air over the hood pull air from the engine bay out.

*nah, arkansas is pretty much a southern state.
*as far as the heatshield goes, i took it off to clean everything and forgot to put it back on, but concerning the grill, i like the setup better w/out the grill, you can see so much more heat coming out at stoplights and such, all the grill did was dissipate heat and spread it out when it came out...i think. plus my BLITZ DD is noticibly louder without it, which makes me smile.
*I wanna do a burnt orange color, but more brown in it than the srt4, or maybe an SI bluish, who knows.
*nobody mentioned my tint ;) the beauty of optometry, i have a dr's note saying my eyes are "sensitive" w/ contacts so i've got 15% all around and 30% on the windshield and i cant get a ticket for it, it's so nice driving w/ windshield tinted, i love it.

How about this color? It's that met purple from a 6spd GSR in the UK. It would be different.

Agh, needs to be a WARNING before showing a beautiful gold Evo and then showing that horrible damage.
