just finish install some parts on my evo at EIP today [Archive]

this is what I have done today will do the dyno tomorrow + 750 fuel pump

so far I did:
hks hi power exhaust
fuel injectors
hks 280 cam
cam pully
ecu tec
hks super suction intake

what else do I need? Can someone give advise

downpipe, test pipe or high flow car, fuel pump, flash mayb or a safcII to tune and manuel boost controller if you want to boost higher :D

I could be wrong, but my immediate guess would be adjustable cam gears. With 280s and an intake your low end is going to be just about gone and you'll want to shift some of that power down.

I have not adjust anything yet I will do that tomorrow I think the injector is 750cc i believe. I also do dyno tomorrow as well so I will be camp at EIP tomorrow lol

Still thats pretty good increase with the Ecutec flash. I was looking at getting one my self as my first "Real" mod.

Sounds about right. Nice 51 whp jump with just a intake + ecutek. 8)

I was talkin to paul last night. He just tuned an Evo IX. Stock baseline was like 229 whp. He added an intake+ecutek and he put 291 whp on it. 62 whp gain. Now I know how the 03-04's feel when the 05's came out. :cry:

you mean before the intake and reflash you were putting down 186? Wow, that's like 20WHP less than most people report... but maybe it's variations between the different dynos?

I did the dyno today but it don't look too good :( im still put out 261 whp and 252 torque. But my psi at peak is 19 but off peak drop down to 17 psi. I need the manuel boost control so I can constantly stays at 19psi or 23 psi. by getting that i might have hope to put out 300 whp. sorry that I can't suprise you guys today.

before 237 whp torque I forgot

after 261 whp torque 252

total gain 24 whp

what do u guys think

Did EIP tune your ECUtek for all the new mods? What did they say about it all? Doesn't EIP use the ECUtek to control boost?

Is your EVO and 05 with 10.5 or an earlier EVO with 9.8?

Can you scan and post your dyno chart?

i have a correction to made peak at 19 psi and off peak at 15psi due to not having a manuel boost controller. *that drop cuz we make too many runs* When its hot Im put out 252 whp and 246 torque. I guess thats still pretty good.
