Aluminum is the worst possible material for a shift knob. Where can I go (preferably local) to check out possible replacements? South bay/peninsula preferred. Also, are there any issues with clearing the MR's shift collar? Ideally I'd like one with a proper shift pattern... so if anyone besides me is driving they don't inadvertently fly off in the wrong direction. Thanks!

There's a part listing for a 6-speed leather knob from Mitsu. Available at your local dealer or WORKS can get it for you as well :)

You have a part number at all? Or if you can provide a pic and price I think you'd have a good chance at making a sale ;)

Not on the site, but it retails for $74.06 from Mitsubishi. The last I checked they had them in the Mitsu's LA warehouse. If you guys are interested, give us a call for pricing/availability :)

That one looks pretty sweet! Much better than the aluminum mitsu knob, IMO.

Yeah I hate the factory aluminum knob too. I think the STi's leather shift knob is much better.
