And approximately how much will it cost? I'm looking for recommendations.
I bought an OEM flywheel off Ebay with "only" 400 miles on it but after cleaning it up last night it was clear even to my untrained eyes that there is a fair amount of hotspotting on it--in some places the metal is blued from heating. The surface is still fairly smooth though I can feel some unevenness where the hotspots are. (Will post photos...)
Well, at least I only paid $36 for it so I'm hoping that even with resurfacing it will be cheaper than a new one ($200); and I don't have to take my existing flywheel out until I'm ready to do the clutch job.
