EQUALS DARKNESS!!

These are my track wheels. 17x9 5zigen 5N01RC, 35mm offset w/ 255/40-17 Toyo RA1s. Pics aren't that clear cuz my camera is kinda crappy.

These wheels ended up looking a lot better than I thought they would. I like them so much that I don't want to take them off! Track season starts for me soon and I only drive my evo about 1-2 times per week anyway, so I'm just gonna leave them on. ;)

Mark, you need to remove those center caps... it contrasts with the wheel and says "5 Zigen Try Harder"

For some reason, I kinda like the way the center caps look. I don't really care what it says on them. haha..

Looks sweet, Mark! I'm starting to like those 5Zigens. :) Where did you get everything, and how much did it set you back?

Yeah, all I need now is tinted windows and some blacked out headlights. Then my car will truly be "darkness".. haha.. as it sits right now, I have a hard time seeing my car in dark areas. I just see a black blob.

Dave, I got these wheels from edgeracing.com. I recommend the place. They quote you shipping right on the website. They have people answering the phones and kept me up to date w/ everything happening w/ my order. They do kinda gouge you on shipping though. But the price shipped includes hubcentric rings and a set of lug nuts. It was still by far the best deal I could find though the web.

Lets attention from the cops when you drive at night, but at day you look like a shadow of another car.

255's look like a tight fit. Did you have to roll the fenders? What camber are you runnin?

My fenders aren't rolled. 255s were a TIGHT fit in the back. The fronts seem to have enough clearance. I have no rubbing issues from just street driving so far. I'll see what happens at my next track day when I'm really pushing my car.

I'm running -2.5 deg of camber in the front and -1.4 deg in the rear.

First off, looks great Mark!

I'm running the same setup, black 5zigens even, 255/40/17 and I have no fender rubbing whatsoever with about the same drop, -2.9 front camber, -1.2 rear camber. The rear is about the absolute maximum you can go before you have to roll the fender but it does not rub.

The front tires rub a tad on the inside plastic liner at full lock but even my stock wheels/tires did that with lowering.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I didn't realize how crappy my camera was until I tried taking pictures of my car w/ these new wheels. The black on black is really hard to get good pictures of! I plan on getting a better camera soon, so hopefully I'll have some better pictures in the near future.

With the power your Evo puts down, plus the LSD, I was thinking you should go with "ICRPONU".

Naw, be a uber geek and get the plate: "#000000"

haha.

I saw a yellow S4 once with the plate: "#FFFF00". I wasn't sure if he was a geek for having a plate that said that or I was a bigger geek for knowing wtf that plate meant.

Black on black, really not bad :)

I'm suprise how well the black in the fn01rc matches the color of the Evo, that's one super slick car right there!

Nice Zeal coilover too :)

Bring it to the next meet, I'm sure Wilson can take some nice photos with his DSLR. :)
