I'm getting a Front BBK installed this week as well.

Front BBK with 332x32 (so I can use 17" wheels) slotted rotors. After talking to the Stoptech staff I decided to go with Pagid Orange (RS 4-4) pads for the following reasons:
- good fade resistance despite their relatively low MOT
- low rotor wear
- low initial torque (I'm not the smoothest on the brakes so this helps my sloppy technique)
- will work on the street (after a couple warm-up stops)
- reasonable cost ($199 from Stoptech)
- great reputation from people I know (BMW and Porsche peeps)

I also considered Carbotechs but decided based mostly on initial torque characteristics that I would go with the Pagids.

The 332x32. They fit under 17's.

BTW, Stoptech has the best customer service I have ever experienced from any company I have every delt with (computers, hardware, cars, etc).

Yes I have them on the weaksauce 3G eclipse... so yea if you want to feel them and look at them in detail i can take off the wheel and let you drive it around... i recently replaced the rotors which i was surprised it was only 150 a rotor!

Damn, only $150 per rotor? Anyone know how much replacement rotors cost for the evo 2-pc rotors?

332x32 rotors list for $235/rotor on the Stoptech site not including the hat (but including whatever else is needed to afix it to an old hat). Of course $235 is the msrp - a dealer might be able to discount that.

Most replacement 2-pc rotors are $300+ each (e.g racingbrake @ $330 each)

Yea, the replacement rotor rings (the outer braking surface area) are pretty cheap compared to others. Brake pads are also MUCH cheaper for the stoptech calipers compared to the brembo calipers.

Stoptechs end up paying for themselves in the long run.

Get in my Evo now!!! 8) Anyone know if they are gonna make a Carbon Ceramic Version? :P

Oh and i know this will come up... but yes correct installation calls for the rotor slots to be facing forward... the inner vanes will rotate the correct direction when installed properly this way

Will stoptech add material so I dont have to use spacers? Custom hats?

What do you mean? The rotors should have the same mounting specs as stock.

I know they should be stock "but" will they do custom to get rid of my spacers?

i would assume they could but you would definitely be waiting a while for your kit
you could also have your own made up local. it wouldn't be too tough to take the measurements off the original for the rotor mount points.
a bit spendy though as you would be covering all the setup in one pair of parts. you might want to make a few sets and try to sell them off.

It's not in the budget right now. I need to do a cage first. Just asking if anyone has heard of it.
