Does anyone have any experience with a durable wrinkle-finish type spray-can paint?

I need something really durable, this will be used on a roll-bar.

I am currently looking at:

VHT Wrinkle Plus

The shop used the plastikote wrinkle paint on the valve cover on my 240SX. Looks like it came that way OEM (original finish is smooth flat black) - like the Honda DOHC VTEC valve cover. Just make sure the paint doesn't run when you're applying it. It did on mine at the edges.

Sorry, I do not have any better pictures. The last photo was one I took before I sold the car. It will come out looking like the Honda valve cover - that matte finish. The texture is similar. I figure most of these wrinkle paints will be similar so pick up a can and try it on some scrap metal or parts lying around to make sure it is what you want.

OT, but what roll bar are you getting?

I settled for an Autopower.

I tried some Plastikote trunk bed liner spray paint today because of the durabability factor of it.

unfortunatly it came out a little too shiny. I want the matte look like the honda valve cover above. Think i'll just try out the plastikote wrinkle paint.
