i was finally able to have my ems installed and tuned...all i can say is FU@K. i'm running only 20 psi, but ALL 20 psi is available INSTANTLY. I've only seen a boost needle travel this fast on chris's AMS tuned evo. On the dynojet i was tuned on i was able to lay down 324 whp and 270 wtq CONSISTANTLY without ANY knock. when i delivered the car my baseline on that same dyno was 257 whp and 244 wtq. the ONLY mod done during this tuning session was an intake pipe with a filter.

for comparison my car laid down 230whp and 240 wtq @ grouppe-s BEFORE cams which is pretty close to the baseline after cams, but before tuning on the dynojet.(+27whp +4 wtq) all of these numbers were made on PUMP gas without ANY injection(nos, meth). thanks for taking time to read this

Now, go to gruppe-s and see what she puts down so I can take Bryan's $5.

Nice, can't wait to see what it puts down on the gruppe-s dyno, you still doing it this weekend?

How come the torque seems so low relative to the horsepower?

glad to see you finally got your AEM EMS on! also, it will be interesting to see some 1 to 1 comparisons between the gs dyno and a dynojet.

Didn't we bet for the Gruppe-s dyno?

Didn't we bet for the Gruppe-s dyno?

Hey if he can find 40whp more on the gruppe-s dyno with the same ass-tune from HPfreaks, then let me know.

Although, since Sean @ FF has touched the tune, all bets are off.

Hey Will,

This is Jerry from Full Function. You should post your before and after dyno charts up from Saturday. And then you can post the dyno charts up of your car after the next session coming up, that'll show the power you could have made and the power you are making with the a/f reads from the wideband. Dont worry, we'll get everything all fixed for you... :D

what's up jerry...first of all i want to thank you guys again for spending some time with my car after hours. To find 22 whp in 5 minutes is crazy...now that i fixed my giant boost leak and ran the vacuum lines correctly you guys can get down to re-tuning my beast. i'll bring the dyno sheets from Sat.& TF and we can post up those results along with tomorrow's results...300whp club here i come

Sean at Full Function did a great job on this car. He basically wiped everything out TorqueFreaks did and started from a clean slate on the AEM. Here is the final result of Will's car. The stock injectors seem to be holding him back right now. Mods are AEM w/speed density (MAF deleted), Niesei pipes and intercooler, Works TB, HKS 272 cams (at 0/0 now) and Works TBE. Pretty good numbers for stock injectors, 0/0 cam timing and a High Flow cat. Will, you need some 720's the RRE rally cat and play with that cam timing for a little more. :)

For comparison of Dyno Jet numbers, here is his tune from Torque Freaks. This same tune Will made 260whp on the Full Function MD dyno. :? To say the least, those guys did a horrible job.

Full Function spent a bunch of time dialing in this car. I drove it tonight, and damn, now I need to mod some more. The top end on the car is great! :)

hahahaha, nice NA AFR tune by TorqueFreaks.

Glad he listened to both of us and got that shizzle looked at.

Great looking tune by FF and great numbers for a catted car!

That chart is like a mirror image of my car on that dyno.

I wounder if a bigger intercooler on stock turbo causes the torque to be much lower than peak hp. I'm not complaining just thinking about how I could get more TQ.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. Your torque looks just like his, you both have huge IC cores.

Bryan, what was your torque looking like, you're still on the stock intercooler.

Aren't you still running a Flash that is making it so you can't turn up the boost more? I thought that was the problem with your lower trq?

My sheet is a different style of trace map than FF so you won't be able to compare the curves.

My torque numbers are for sure higher at 287wtq, but these are two different dynos, the FF dyno might load up the car differently.

i'm running an AMS intercooler, and got my tq up to 280 something at gruppe-s

Hey Will,

I'm glad to hear you are happy with the new found beast. Yes, that was a big jump in power, sorry I couldnt be here to see your car, I was at school all day  . Anywho, its good to hear you are satisfied with the car. Drive safe!!

uh...those are the exact same dyno's they are both VERY close in comparison so why don't you go by there and do a few pulls to see how accurate they are??
