I know your probably saying "where's Napa". To get the Infineon, take 80 south and take highway 37 towards san rafael. It's like coming from Fairfield and going to Marine World exit. Just stay on that road all the way to the track.

Mods,

Why was my thread moved? As you can see there is also a "meet" and Caravan at the Concord KK. I would like it moved back to Meets and Events if possible.

Skimming over the thread I missed the bit about the meet/caravan, and decided drag racing would better be filed under "Motorsports". Anyway if you go to the Meets and Events (http://www.norcalevo.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=2) forum page you can see there's still a link to this thread from there. I suppose this thread could go in either/both categories, and this way, it does.

u actually don't know until you run you car for the first time. most likely a stock evo will run high to mid 13's. just depends on the driver. good launch, good shifts...etc.
most cases if it's you first time out, they let you slide without a helmet. (maybe). if there is a consistancy in 13.99 secs and below you will be required to wear a dot legal helmet. i forget what Snell # for drag racing though??? anybody???

if your going to engage in any auto sport activites, u should wear a helmet anyway. safety for your head is a must!

You need a SA95 or better. SA2000 is what is now available if buying new.

The tech-inspectors at the track know your car is a sub-14 car and will make sure you have a helmet before they let you run. They hassled me in my WRX when it was stock and warned me that they would be on my ass if i ran better than a 14.0 w/out a helmet
