ok..i got the airbox totally removed from the hose, but i need the peice between the hose and the box itsellf, anyone taken one off without breaking the air box?

you talking about the maf?if it is then just dont muscle it so the tab that holds the screw wont brake.what you do is use a rubber mallet or the the side of the hammer and hit the ratchet.this makes it work like an impact wrench so it pops the nut from the screw.

its done...lets just say I won't be installing hte stock airbox again
