WORKS at Rim of the World Rally -this weekend

The WORKS crew will be at this weekend's Rim of the World Rally April 29th and 30th for the fourth consecutive year. If you are in Southern California and want to see a world class rally come on by, get dirty and hang out.

In addition to the usual rally stages, there will be a Drift Competition featuring drivers such as WORKS sponsored Calvin Wan and some of the finest vendors on the planet. Including our partners Ohlins, Cosworth and Toyo Tires.

There was a Subaru-sponsored auto-x event there last year.

I did a good job representing WORKS and Mitsubishi and annoying all the Subaru owners by, oh, winning it (http://www.weblumen.com/subaru/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=423&PN=7).

Unfortunately I won't be able to defend my title because the organizers felt the auto-x "distracted" too much from the main event--I guess people decided they'd rather watch cone-dodging than the ricey-car show there (I think that says more about the car show than about auto-x). So, no auto-x this year. :(

Didn't know that Calvin Wan was sponsored by WORKS. I thought he was a Falken guy, and didn't drive a Mitsubishi? I haven't watched Formula D at all recently.
