Hey all,

This warning comes a bit early because the next autocross is the SFR regions national tour event down in Atwater.

If your going to go, be sure to register before Tuesday to avoid late penaties. There is also a limit to the number of participants, so register early.

For this event, I am going to try out the new STU class. I doubt the class will have enough entries to run, but we shall see.

Who else is going? Joe Masters (AS) has already signed up, I expect Joe and Navid as well (ESP)

I'm thinking about going, since (according to Bryan Nemy) it will count as points towards my standing in AS-N, and if no other AS-N drivers show up it's an easy 200 points for me. But obviously I have some trepidation about doing a national tour event, with only a dozen or so autocrosses under my belt. And street tires. To get points for AS-N I think I'd still have to run with my open class (AS) and my times will be 5-10 seconds slower than everybody else. :( Your thoughts?

Well, I'm signed up. I am soooooooo going to get my ass kicked. I'll count myself lucky if I can finish ahead of the drivers running in H Stock Ladies.

Doug Richardson's photos from day 1 are in; here I am getting some big-time rear wheel lift (not to mention roll):

And our very own chrisw doing some wheel-lifting of his own:

The shoulder wear is better now with the higher pressures I'm running now (46psi in front, 43psi in rear) but yeah, a new set of Falken Azenis Sports is already on the way. :)
