View Full Version : What kind of Internet connection do you use?

Hi, just wondering what people out there use to connect to the 'Net. I know there are quite a few people posting large image files here (and video clips, etc.) and if you have any feedback about how that affects your ability to use this site (either positively or negatively), please put it here...

Most of the time, I am connecting via a nearby resident's DSL line via 802.11b with a directional antenna.. its pretty damn nice! Simple SSID, no WEP, DHCP.. And the really great part is, the line gets to stable speeds over 600KB/sec download, 80KB/sec upload. Alas.. I haven't got the password to the router, so I can't setup static routes :(

56k dial up at home =( t1,dsl, etc... at either howie's place or at school.
