Care to change the topic/subject to something a bit more useful, please?

WORKS O2 housing (cermic-coated), WORKS Exhale 76mm downpipe (ceramic-coated), WORKS Exhale resonated 76mm midpipe, and WORKS ABM axle-back muffler (also have the WORKS ABE for when sound isn't an issue ). Helix metal-substrate cat (DYI black ceramic coating).

I also have a stock cat, gutted stock cat, and WORKS HFC lying around--will trade one/both of the last two for a WORKS RTP (resonated test pipe) if anybody's interested.

Modify your first post in the topic and change the subject to "What TBE are you using?" or something like that. Makes it useful for people like me who just automatically go to http://www.norcalevo.net/forum/index.php?action=unread

EDIT: excellent, thanks!

I have a Helix V2 downpipe (WHICH RATTLES LIKE HELL... but i'm too lazy to add washers to the tie bar so it's my fault), Perrin 3" testpipe, Helix 3" catback.

btw: what size washers do I need anyways? I was just gonna take my tie bar off and goto home depot w/ the bolt.

I'd say "mixing" rather than "mismatching", yeah. The stock TBE components are the downpipe, catalytic converter, midpipe (intermediate pipe), and axle-back muffler. If the aftermarket components are designed to fit in place of one of those components, and are properly designed for fitment (e.g. WORKS) then there should be no problem mixing-and-matching.

Some components are easier to fit in place of the stock piece than others--for example anybody can make a high-flow cat or test pipe that fits in place of the stock piece, because it's short straight section, but making a downpipe, midpipe or muffler with perfect fitment is more difficult. That's where you see differences between the companies that spent a lot of time measuring, prototyping and test-fitting, and the ones that just hacked something together and put it up for sale. I've gone through several different exhaust system components and I think you really do get what you pay for.

I am very pleased with this setup. Everything fit perfectly (no black bumper on my WW 05) and the sound is perfect for me. A deep low rumble at idle but very aggressive sounding at wide open throttle. The exhaust does resonate inside the car (especially with all four windows down) but not too bad for a canister muffler. Especially one with 90mm piping going into the muffler. GT-Spec is a megaphone exhuast; the downpipe transitions from 65mm to 70mm into the cat, out of the cat it goes from 75mm to 80mm to 90mm into the muffler. There is a resonator in the mid-pipe. I dont have any dyno numbers but I can't imagine it being very different from most of the exhaust systems of similar design. One thing to note, my downpipe even included heat insulating wrap, which was a nice bonus.
