i'm in a tight situation where i am literally growing white hair just thinking about this. first off, my evo is mostly going to be a daily driver then a handful of track events for the year. i am torn between getting the tein flex and the jic flt-a1. any body got some insights on the high and the low's of these coilovers? :read:

yo brwnrice, saw this in another thread...

i have the FLEX with the EDFC on my car.. slightly stiffer than stock but not much.. the ride is a little harder but still not by much.. if your looking for a good street suspension with the adjustability the FLEX will be a good choice... if your going more for a street/road race setup i would look into the new HKS RS coilovers...

Thanks.

I heard some people had trouble putting on the Jic. something about the way it mounts. Do a search in Evom, I believe I saw it there.

if anybody else is interested in the Tein Flex Kit (with or w/o the edfc), i might be able to set up a group buy. i need to see how many serious buyers and then i will get a quote.

Both Teins and JICs are stiff from the factory, you may want to run softer springs.

If you are interested, we have a slightly used (only a few thousand miles) TEIN flex setup for sale. It was on the WORKS car, and has been set by WORKS already.

Also, don't forget to check out the Zeals. If you want to test them out, we have them on the shop car. Jan has them too.
