20-23K

Last weekend I went and tried to trade in my Evo for an 05 STI. Thats about the same price they told me my Evo was worth. I still owe to much on the Evo to trade it in for the 05 STI. They said I would have to put down $2500 and my payments would be $650 for 84 months. I said screw that!

Were you seriously considering buying the STi?

The sales guy at the subie dealership said that they also owned the Mitsu dealership. He said that he wanted me to get a 05 STI because the Evo's weren't selling very well and that they weren't very good cars. Thats the reason why they weren't selling. Actually, my first choice was the STI. He said that "He would do everything he could, so I could get rid of the Evo".

I think I've just about given up on ever hoping to trade in the Evo for some reasonable value. I think the Evo will end its days with me one way or another: either I get an even more bad-ass car for the track/auto-x/rally and the Evo will become just my daily driver, quietly rusting away, or I'll buy a tamer daily driver and the Evo will become my dedicated track/auto-x/rally car and will likely end up eventually unfixably broken and/or wadded up, hopefully after a long and illustrious career in racing. :)

stolen or crashed is how i see the end of my evo... cuz as it has been stated... resale isnt really an option...
