Passenger sits back in the seat, driver places dollar (or any denomination) bill on the dash. If the passenger can grab the bill of the dash under acceleration, they get to keep it.

personally id ask the shop for a new viper with the same mods he had plus that guys job etc. that car is a very nice car overall but i hate mechanics that dont know wtf their doing.
