And yes, I am working on a Counter Strike server as well. That should finally be up in the next week or so, depending on how easily I can find the CS 1.6 Linux server files.

Having trouble with the firewall right now (iptables). As soon as I get this running perfectly, I will put up the ip address for the server. I wanna keep this locked down for a bit till I get all the problems hammered out. But yeah we will get this game going. ;)

Ok the server is up though I need to fix the map rotation. Here we go.

That was fun! I am gonna take off the password and put 4 reserve slots for us. So, if you wanna join a reserve slot, the password is gonna be nce1942. That way we will mostly be guaranteed a slot on the server. And thanks to Dogtown for killing me over and over with his l33t tank sk1llz!

I think I got the server listed on Gamespy Arcade and All Seeing Eye. So, we should get a few people in there that we can play with. If you get bored of plain old BF1942, we can try out Desert Combat (my personal preference) which is a FREE mod that sits on top of BF1942.

Desert Combat is the shit. I love crashing the helo (cause lord knows I can't fly the damn thing).

Yeah Desert Combat is the game to play. I will put a url for the latest BF1942 patch (1.6) and the newest Desert Combat client. That way you guys don't have to hunt and peck around and try to find them on the net or sit in line for 2 hours on FilePlanet.com.
