hey guys i had something horrible happen to me. i was about to go have some diner with some friends started my car up heard the biggest rattling noise coming from the motor. i turned it off right away. it sounded like a tensioner had failed. the messed up part i was talking it in for my 60k service to get all that done that coming monday. i called the guys i was bringing my car to for the 60k and told them what happened. towed the evo and after looking at the car it came down to the timing belt had some how lost 6 teeth on the belt, so bent valves in the head . I will have pics of the belt soon to show you. so all this and im like you know what lets change eveything. I am redoing the whole motor and head. keeping it at 2.0L its my daily and im not looking for crazy hp. the whole reason why i am writing this is i wanted to share what happend and also i needed some ideas on what turbo to get, i want to stay with a stock frame or stock location turbos. the car is a dd but will see a handful of track days (not drag well maybe a few) so i need a turbo that will put around 400whp, should be plenty for the street and just the right power at the track. any input on this would be great.
