    just bought one from autobacs this sunday and put it on the evo right away and i felt a difference right away as far as accelaration. it felt more stable pulling than compared with the stock filter and the price is pretty reasonable also $40 plus w/o the hassle of taking out the airbox and piping(right ray )cant wait till the 24th to see how much i gained with all the mods i got.

    i got that too! for like 30 bucks i think...off of some website...
    i dont have any other mods so its like...i can't really .....i mean i can...but its not that noticeable...only in the upper mid and high end

    $29.99 at import-nation.com. $7.60 shipping though. :x

    Still, that's cheaper than $40 shipped from Gruppe-S (and since that's in CA, you have to pay sales tax I imagine).

    You should call Gruppe-S and talk to Cal if you need parts for your Evo. Sometimes, if you call him, he will make some pretty good deals.

    Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'll save that for big(ger)-ticket items--wouldn't want to waste Cal's time (or mine) over a few bucks on a $40 filter.

    I've ordered mine from import-nation. Hey, does this count as a mod?
