    04/08/2003 For all of you taken by Mitsu's & Sube's claims for their stated hp-torque figures, along with their subsequent 0-60 times, then their advertizing is taking a lot of morons like yourselves for a ride. Their 280-300 hp numbers are just Oriental factory proclamations & do not coincide with actual race shop or SAE dyno data. If you want to accelerate to 60 mph in less that 5 secs, in a 3300-3500 lb. car, then you're going to need some serious hp & low end torque values to do so, values which answer to the likeness of Vette, Viper & Stang Cobra. Conclusion-no damn EVO or WRX will achieve what their producers claim without some serious high dollar modifications; additionally I challenge either vehicle to run a high 13's-104 mph terminal speed in the quarter-as documented by the deceivingly wicked Neon SRT-4 in stock form-and its mfg stated hp/torque are suprisingly understated-MLH, engr
