I went to GST Motorsports for my very first time on Saturday, August 2, 2008, for a baseline run on my completely stock Evo. After the run, Bryan showed me the printouts and showed me how much power I lost in the upper RPMS. He told me he could give my car base flash that would just clean up the AFRs, and I said sure why not. About 15-20 minutes later, he shows me the printouts and how much I've gained in the higher RPMs.

He takes my car off the dyno and tells me to take it for a spin to see if I notice the difference. I drive off onto the street, but hesitant to WOT because I dont really know the streets over there. I hit a red light, and once it turned green I decided to go for it. First and second gear pulled so much harder in the higher RPM range, that it got my heart pumping pretty hard. Never felt that before, I was used to the big drop off in the higher RPM range. I make my u-turns, and make it back to GST. I tell Bryan that I'm SUPER happy with the base flash.
Big ups to Bryan for the base flash and answering ALL my questions that day. He's a real cool guy, super friendly, and I feel at ease when trusting him with my car. Also big ups to everyone else I met that day especially Steve and Josh. Thanks for the valuable information, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I'm pretty sure I'll see you guys again at GST, seems like a real cool chill spot. It also seems like I missed out that night as well on the dyno car bowling hahahaha.. Looked HELLA fun.
