Well believe it or not but alot of countries eat things that would discuss us. Some eat monkey brains and some eat bugs and insects and in alot of parts in Asia, dogs are a delicacy. In some, who knows what they eat.

Sure, well, plenty people keep pigs as pets (and I'm told they can be as smart and affectionate as dogs), yet most of us have no problems with bacon... So yes, people across different cultures eat all kinds of weird stuff. Cannibalism is something closer to a universal taboo (though again there are a few exceptions).
