on my experience, if you have lots of mods just pay for it. if you have little mods, put your car back to stock and claim it on your warranty.

I would highly recommend Paul Langlie @ Lee Myles transmission.

Hands down the best Mitsubishi transmission I have felt in over 10 years of rowing through mitsubishi transmissions.

    Bryan just wondering....

Would you recommend these guys over say, Shep or TRE? I understand you've had a somewhat lukewarm experience with John@TRE on your 6 speed...

From what I have seen and felt so far yes, the 5spd in his evo that we used at the time attack this last weekend feels and shifts tons better than my TRE rebuilt 6spd.

It is the best 5spd mitsu trans I have ever used.

The biggest advantage is that he is local and also answers his phone the first time you call...

+1,000,000,000 for Paul..... I believe that most of the bay area shops that were using shep have now switched to using paul. Not only does he do great work but hes not going to try and sell you snake oil like some other shops do.
