The only thing I would add is that if your front brake line doesn't have anything to secure it in place on the clip attached to the wheel strut (i.e. it can just slide freely back and forth inside the clip), then slide it back as far as possible (make sure the line isn't pulled tight when the wheel is fully turned in either direction), and use a zip tie around the brake line or maybe some other kind of clip to keep the line from sliding forward.
I kept hearing this faint rubbing sound sometimes (especially when turning) and later discovered that my FR brake line had slid forward a bit and was brushing against the inside edge of the wheel :shock:, stripping the rubber coating and exposing the stainless steel (and things could have gotten much worse had the problem continued).
yes, happened to my buddy's subaru at sears point, but it actually busted, coming down the hill into the braking zone in turn 4, eek! probably the only place in sears something like that could happen and you can get away from it unharmed.
